The Tambuwal Effect

The emergence of Alhaji Aminu Waziri Tambuwal as speaker of the House of Representatives in 2011 upset the apple cart that had been ordained by his then party leaders in the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.
Four years later and with Tambuwal about to leave office as speaker on May 29 for the Sokoto Government House, the consequence of his action is about to reawakened in the House of Representatives but this time without him being in the battle.

President-elect, General Muhammadu Buhari (retd) has told the governorship candidate of APC in Taraba State, Senator Aisha Alhassan not to allow the outcome of the just concluded election in the state weigh her down.
According to Buhari, he was able to win the presidency after three unsuccessful attempts.

The president-elect gave this advise when he hosted a delegation from Taraba State.

A Permanent Secretary in the Ekiti State Civil Service, Mr. Tunde Alokan, has been sacked by Governor Ayodele Fayose, it was learnt on Monday.
Alokan until his removal was the Permanent Secretary in charge of the Office of Establishment.

A source said Alokan was relieved of his job because of his closeness to a former state governor, Dr. Kayode Fayemi.
It was learnt that Fayemi attended the burial of Alokan’s late father held in Efon Alaaye in February which the source said did not go down well with the powers that be in the state.

According to Punch, 14 members of the state House of Assembly have commenced plans for Chime’s impeachment.
The lawmakers have leveled a series of allegations against the governor, including accusing  him of forging a N12 billion supplementary budget in 2012.

Another Buhari Walker Arrives Gombe With Over 70 Requests For President-elect
